The EmmauStudent ministry desires to come alongside students and families to point them to the One and only Person that is worth their life’s attention and aim—Jesus Christ. We depend upon God’s means of grace—The Word, Prayer, & Community—to fulfill this mission. We facilitate theses graces through times of worship, small groups, and various events throughout the year.
We are super excited about our upcoming annual UNITED event coming in late January. We hope your student will join us this year.

Small Groups | Sundays, 9:15-10:15am
Our Sunday morning small groups are a great way for students to get connected with other teenagers their age and be encouraged by others. We meet at 9:15am in the Student Lounge every Sunday for a brief time of fellowship, and then we break off into our small groups. Our adult small group leaders are committed to fostering relationships with students, serving them as spiritual encourages both in the classroom and also in life. We have small groups for
FALL LOOP | Sunday Nights, 5-7pm | Sept 15 - Oct 20
Starting Sunday night, September 15th through Oct 20th we will gather together at Chad & Andrea Cobble's House for food, fellowship, & spiritual enouragement. Our focus will be on the topic of anxiety. Come join us!
A couple times throughout the year we use THE LOOP to split up our guys and girls. At "Beef & Bros" our guys hang out & eat, as well as, take time to be encouraged about following Jesus. At "Girls, Coffee, & Convos" our ladies come together to fellowship and have open discussions about their identity in Christ.
Refuel takes place on Wednesday nights in the Student lounge during the Fall and Spring Semesters. Refuel offers a weekly gathering for students to fellowship, worship Jesus and learn more about following Him through the study of the Word. Refuel is designed specifically for High School and Middle School students so this opportunity is perfect for new students to connect with others their age. During the Summer season we move outside to our volleyball courts where we have student led devotions, prayertime, & fellowship.
Ministry Teams are for every student! We want everyone to have a place to serve the Body of Christ within EmmauStudents and our church. Currently we have 5 areas of ministry students can participate in.
TECH :: Anything with sound, graphics, lights, etc.
WORSHIP :: Engaging students with truths of God through music, scripture reading, etc @ ReFuel
PRAYER :: Coordinating & recruiting students to get involved in prayer initiatives.
WELCOME :: First Impressions, Greeting students and making connections to other students.
SERVE :: "Behind the scenes" prep/coordination of events and other opportunities.
Our Serve Lead Team serves multiple purposes. 1) It gives a student the opportunity to lead/facilitate our Ministry Teams, as well as, learn more about being a leader at church, home, & school. 2) It gives a student the opportunity to be apart of the planning and collaboration of Student Ministry events & mission. 3) Finally, and most importantly, it gives a student an opportunity to be discipled and learn how to disciple others. The Serve Lead Team meets together two Sunday Nights a month. At the beginning of each school year we coordinate the EmmauStudents Serve Lead Team, where students are given the opportunity to join the Serve Lead Team. Students may also join the Serve Lead Team at any point during the school year.
Students wishing to consider participating on the Serve Lead Team will need to take some time to sign up through the link below. (Students wishing to participate in Super Summer Leadership Camp are required to be on the Serve Lead Team for the duration of the school year.)
There is nothing easy about parenting a teenager. It can be one of the greatest challenges but also one of the greatest joys of our adult life. There are seasons when the challenges seem to outwiegh the joys and sometimes its the other way around. The EmmauStudent Ministry desires to come alongside parents in this endeavor to be their biggest supporter and champion as they parent their teenager. We hope this dedicated webpage will do just that for you. Please explore and use it! And of course, if you ever have any questions please contact Jeron, our Student Pastor.
