Come join us for a workshop on what it means to be a Biblical man. George Ross, of the North American Mission board, will be here to challenge us and provide biblical and practical content to help us “Show Yourself a Man.” We will have 3 sessions throughout the day. There will be a catered dinner from Earl's Rib Palace between the evening sessions for $5.  If you plan on attend the evening sessions, please sign up by Aug. 19. Invite your sons, co-workers, neighbors, etc. to what will be an encouraging time!

George is a graduate of Crichton College in Memphis, Tennessee and received his Master of Divinity in Evangelism and Church Planting from Liberty Theological Seminary. George is a certified Gospel Coach, Multiply Trainer, and actively involved in coaching leaders, pastors, and planters. Currently, he is working on a Doctor of Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Spiritual Formations.

George was the lead pastor at Lifepoint Church in Senatobia, Miss. He served as student pastor at Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Miss., from 1998 to 2004.

In 2005 George planted Lifepoint Church. He has served as Lifepoint’s pastor for nine years during which time the Lord has used Lifepoint to reach its community and plant churches locally and globally. George was also founding director of the ONE8 Church Planting Network. In 2013 George and his family were sent out as Missionaries to the great city of New Orleans, LA. George is now serving with the North American Mission Board as the New Orleans SEND Missionary and SEND Relief Hub Director (www.namb.net) and serving at the Lakeshore Church Replant in New Orleans (www.lakeshorechurchnola.com).

Periodically

  • Gathering with Other Men around the state for Worship and Missions
  • Teaming up with other Emmaus ministries for missions and special events
  • Trips and Retreats to get away and grow in our relationships with God and other men
